Okay, the title might be a stretch just to start each word with the musical scale…but the substance is pretty cool: a Devon based musician set up Eigenlabs with musicians and a development team to create a new instrument called an Eigenharp. The basic version, according to the BBC article is £349, the expensive ten times as much.

The paint isn’t quite dry on the software behind it, though (Gallery3) – so please forgive the occassional hiccup as we refine, tinker and polish it. In time, you’ll be able to register yourself there, and login ~ which means you’ll be able to leave comments and see special galleries.
Another large piece of public art in the UK has been unveiled, this time its ‘The Dream’ in Merseyside – a 20m high sculpture of a nine-year-old girl’s face.
Over in Manchester, though, they are taking down the ‘B of the Bang’ after parts of it fell off, and the city sued group for breach of contract.
Don’t forget, too, that the Ebbsfleet Landmark, a giant horse will gallop onto a hill around 2012.
Any sculptures in Whitchurch going to propose something for us to enjoy? There are plenty of hills all around town…
